A NEW ONE!!!!

ok... so what has been going on in my life?

well... there is the whole boyfriend thing. chuck and i are... "finished." we still talk occasionally... but not too much anymore. the idea of him wasnt good to begin with. my mom is always right, i should just face it.

next.. steak n shake (or sns) is good. and i mean good. there are some reasons why i think i will stay for a while. money is good... company is even better.

had a small party at my house this past weekend. that wasnt too great at all. most of the company was good, but others... not so much.

i am always tired.... exhausted, but what can you do? i feel bad... because normally when all of you people are up and awake, i am sleeping. i work 3rd shift almost always. so if you ever feel like staying out until 6 am.... come to sns.. i get off at 3ish, but stay and eat and hang out with the other servers and managers. its a fun time.

congrats to the class of 06. i am proud of you all.

sick once again

so i have two jobs. yeah me. i am tired and cranky. and... well... things are actually pretty good. last thursday i went bowling... then out to bw3 on 44th street. it was matt and shane's home coning party and matts 21st. we all ventured over to steak n shake after that... then i actually went home. chuck was in traverse city for work... so that was odd.  my first real day at steak n shake is on saturday. friends are welcome to come in and leave a little donation. that would be great. jsut dont order anything too hard. i have yet to figure out that computers.

tonight i skipped out on bowling because chuck was going to make me dinner. then plans changed and we were going to go to tequilla willy's with mike, hillary and aj. plans changed again, and he is on his way home from the store to make me tacos. it was a win win situation.

joh yeah,... on a side note, being sick and having two jobs isnt really that fun. especially seeing as how one of my jobs is being a telemarketer and i cough... and then other being a waitress and i sneeze. yummy. is that really guacomole? or is it snot? food for thought.  hehe... get is FOOD for thought because i jsut talked about guacomole,,, hehe. never mind.  i'm sick, remember? and delusional.

jarhead.... yum

so i just got done watching jarhead the other night. let me tell you... it wasnt what i expected. but the harsh reality of what military personel goes through just opened my eyes and made me appreciate them all the more. with matt and dave leaving, and dan ( hehe...) already over there, i fear for them. its so true, what was said in jarhead. that a guy, even when he comes home from war, he can do  many things with his hands, like change his son's diaper, love a woman, but they will always remember the weight of that gun. i can only imagine what the real terrors are over there.

i now have two jobs. i work at Women's Only Workout on chicago drive and wilson. I also work at steak -n- shake on alpine. come and visit me friends. it will be very rewarding.

tried to sign up for classes today, but without a course catalouge right in front of me, it was a little difficult. so i am going to have to try to hit someone up to see if they have one. anybody have an extra schedule of classes for summer and fall 2006? let me know, please:)

flipsyde coming in concert on may 4th in detroit. i am pumped.

got a new job at ladys  (or woman's) workout express. i am excited to start. $6 and commission. its a good step up from nothing.

church on sunday. college and career night on tuesday.

i am re-reading "Every Young Woman's Battle." Maybe it will speak louder to me this time. This time I won't be in a group setting... and I can reflect more honestly. I appreciated the group i met with for the book, but there are some things that you are better off learning and discovering on your own. When you are meeting with people, and talking about past mistakes, you are more likely to be less honest than if you were to be by yourself. I'm trying here.
